Italian court: unwashed husband has no right to conjugal duty

In one of the most unusual and protracted trials in 2013, a couple of days ago finally came to an end.

The Court of Cassation of Italy decided that the unwashed husband has no right to demand that his wife perform marital duties if he is not clean and tidy enough.

This is the sentence that was recently announced in the case of a couple from the city of Catania (Catania). The woman refused to have sex with her husband, as the latter looked bad after hard work. The shepherd’s wife, who could not step over her principles and refused intimacy with her husband, managed to be sentenced to two and a half years in prison.

The story began a few years ago when a couple from a small Italian town got into irreconcilable differences. The wife of a local shepherd simply refused to fulfill his conjugal duty when her tired husband returned from work.

The thing is that the woman could not tolerate the terrible appearance of her husband, from which, in addition, the smells of sweat and animals emanated.

She repeatedly invited him to at least take a shower. However, her betrothed did not think to abandon her plans: despite the fact that his half resisted, he still achieved his goal. In the end, in 2007, a tormented and humiliated woman contacted the local police, claiming rape. Soon after, a trial took place, as a result of which the court found the poor man’s husband innocent.

But the indignant woman considered the court decision unfair and appealed to the higher authorities.

The jury of the second court, where the shepherd’s wife went, also considered the woman’s statements to be insufficiently serious grounds for convicting her husband. But the indefatigable victim continued to look for the very court that would rule in her favor.

In the end, she went through four instances, in two of which the case was examined twice, until she reached the Italian Supreme Court. It was here that the wife of a shepherd, who, according to her, “stink like cattle,” received the long-awaited support of the law.

The incense husband was sentenced to two years and six months in prison, because "intimacy that occurred without the consent of one of the parties is considered rape."

Surprisingly, not all women refuse to tolerate a non-hygienic man. So, many well-known Hollywood actors are in fact real dirties, which, however, does not prevent them from being style icons and models of sexuality. So, many fans, eager to take pictures with their idol or take his hand, may simply not pay attention to the fact that the star neglects personal hygiene products.

Actors such as Brad Pitt, Matthew McConaughey or Bradley Cooper do not even hide the fact that they do not use deodorants or toothpaste. Moreover, they readily declare this to the paparazzi and immediately find themselves on the front pages of newspapers.

The happy father of a large family, Brad Pitt, in a conversation with reporters somehow shared his personal deodorant recipe. The famous actor said that for such purposes he uses ... his children. “When you don’t have enough time to wash, you just need to take some child (blessing Pitt and Jolie have six of them) and wipe them under the armpits,” - having fun sharing his secret sex symbol of Hollywood. Matthew McConaughey partially shares the point of view of his colleague: the actor openly states that his armpits have not seen the deodorant for more than twenty years.

The idol of teenage girls, Robert Pattinson, has repeatedly shocked them with their attitude to their appearance. The Twilight star does not consider it necessary to wash his hair, which he reports to the paparazzi without a twinge of conscience. According to Pattinson, his record is six weeks without shampoo.
