In addition, the city is well located almost halfway between Milan and Venice and it is easy to call here for 1 day, even impromptu. And since the railway is the most convenient transport for traveling to Verona from other cities in Italy, in this article we will tell you in detail about trains from Verona to the most interesting places in the vicinity.

Verona is served immediately by 3 railway stations, but in order not to get confused among them, we recommend that you focus on the main one - Verona Porta Nuova.

This station is one of the ten largest in Italy, and therefore it’s not only the easiest way to find tickets here, but there is also a way to pass the time if the required train does not leave immediately.

At the station there is a reference, cafe, ticket machines, toilets and even car rental points. If you come to Verona for 1 day and do not want to carry your suitcases, you can leave them in a storage room at the station: the first 5 hours will cost 6 Euros, each subsequent 0.9.

In the square in front of the station, the routes of many city buses converge at once. The easiest way to get to the center is at No. 72 or 73. The fare will cost 1 Euro, and tickets can be purchased at the tobacco kiosk at the station.
