How to get there

From Brest to Rome for 30 euros

Today on the agenda: Is it possible to get from Brest to Rome for only 30 euros? Why are European aero-costers out of competition? Belavia smokes on the sidelines. How to fly to Rome just for a couple of days?

Recently, the great Belarusian national air campaign Belavia announced an “incredible promotion” with discounts on all flights, though without taking into account “airport charges”.

From Minsk with love

It’s personally everyone’s business to believe in Belarusian marketing, but in fact choosing Minsk-Rome-Minsk tickets for even a few months or for a “share” you will still encounter the additional cost of tickets in the form of “fees”. I suppose that these same “fees” for non-Schengen countries are much higher than for European campaigns. Therefore, no matter how Belavia tried to sell tickets to the Belarusian people at the best prices, alas, she could not compete with the European low-cost airlines Wizzair and Ryanair.

As you can see, picking up even the cheapest option from Minsk to Rome is cheaper than 125 euros one way, we can’t fly away. The only plus of this option is a relatively convenient departure (direct flight several times a week) from the Minsk airport and after 2 hours 55 minutes already in Italy, but, unfortunately, it is not accessible to all Belarusians.

Bourgeois Airlines

Today, using the example of a trip from Brest to Rome, we will learn how to save Belarusian bunnies converted to bourgeois euros earned on a hot seed.

Why from Brest to Rome? I have many friends in Brest, the article will be useful for them, and getting to Brest by train from Minsk costs literally a few euros.

Fast, cheap, reliable.

I bring only the fastest and cheapest option to date. We get to Chopin airport by bus, we buy a ticket online here ticketbus.by for 300,000 hares, which is equivalent to about 12 euros.

  • Horse Riding: You need a ticket at 6:20 a.m., the bus arrives around 8:40 a.m. Polish time at Chopin Airport, very convenient.

From Warsaw Chopin Airport, we’re watching flights from the Wizzair.com campaign. For me, Wizzair in this direction is better than Ryanair (it flies from the inconveniently located Modlin airport in Warsaw), since we arrive at the more modern Fiumicino airport and the arrival time is much more convenient - the “paradise” arrives in Rome Ciampino at night, inconvenient and often expensive to get plus you lose the day in Rome and pay for an extra night. If you take tickets for the month, then you can easily find tickets in the region of 100 euros in 2 directions.

Wizzair departs from Warsaw very conveniently at 12:20, and after 2 hours at 14:45 you are in Rome. In fact, having left the house at 5:50 a.m. in a taxi for 2 euros, at around 5 p.m., having already settled into the hotel, you can enjoy Italian cuisine, for example, in my favorite Trastevere district.

But 100 euros to Rome and back is expensive, right? Wizzair has the WIZZ DISCOUNT CLUB option, where for only 30 euros per year, you and your 1 companion get a guaranteed discount of at least 10 euros for each flight. So traveling together, you will save at least 10 euros for 4 tickets in one trip, and all other flights will be discounted. We turn on the option and voila - the cost of 2 round-trip tickets is already 56 euros instead of 78.

We don’t stop at this, after a bit of magic with dates we find the most profitable option, 36 euros round-trip or from Warsaw to Rome for only 18 euros!

Total ticket for a bus Brest-Warsaw 12 euros + ticket for a plane Warsaw-Rome for 18 euros = Brest-Rome is only 30 euros one way. Greetings to Belavia. By the way, you can fly from Chopin to Milan, Catania (Sicily), Verona, Stockholm, Oslo, other cities of Italy and Europe.

Spare Option

Ryanair mentioned above also offers very affordable prices, but it flies from Warsaw to Rome at a not very convenient time from another airport. But just in case, if you need an urgent and budget to Rome, keep this option in stock.

As you can see, a vacation in Rome is very affordable, if a little help. If you want, you can get from the airport on a budget for a long time by bus for 4 euros, stay in a hostel for 10 euros, eat real Italian pasta for only 5 euros.

Of course, such tough options for living (low-cost flights are possible at any age) are not recommended after 30 years, but if you are young, desperate, and most importantly, poor, then the whole Eternal City can also be at your feet.

I will just answer your questions in the comments.

Ponte Vecchio bridge in Florence: history and features

The Ponte Vecchio bridge in Florence can be safely called one of the main attractions of the Tuscan capital. Its peculiarity lies in the fact that since the time of its construction, namely since 1345, the bridge has not changed its appearance.
